Description
Functional features:
The Working Principle and Mixing Process of Horizontal Shaft Mixer
- Material Accumulation and Wear Control
In a horizontal twin-shaft mixer, most of the mixed materials are accumulated between the two mixing shafts, reducing the wear between the mixing arm and the blades. It has been proven that the wear rate of the blades in the secondary mixing area is 25%, but the blades in the main mixing area have little or no wear.
- Liner Selection
According to the working conditions, the lining of the twin-shaft mixer can be selected from ordinary steel plates or wear-resistant cast iron.
- Discharge Efficiency
When the horizontal twin-shaft mixer completes the mixing, the mixed materials accumulate near the discharge door, this design can shorten discharge time in a way.
The discharge door is controlled by the electrical, which can adjust the opening degree, and the discharge door will not be stuck when closed to ensure safety.
- Remains Cleaning
During the unloading process, the blades of the horizontal twin-shaft mixer rotate at a low speed, which makes it easier to clean the residue so as to avoid the parabola phenomenon when the disc machine is unloading.
Advantages of Horizontal Dual-Shaft Mixer
- Efficient Use of Mixing Space
The horizontal dual-shaft mixer is designed to fully utilize the mixing space, enabling it to achieve uniform mixing in a short time.
- Low Noise and Overload Protection
The horizontal twin-shaft mixer it adopts a V-belt and sliding gear structure, which has low noise. Additionally, it owns overload protection to ensure safety during operation.
- Convenient Maintenance
The design of the twin-shaft mixers facilitates easy maintenance, making it simple to service and reducing downtime.
- Short Mixing Time
With a 2-3 minutes mixing cycle, this double-shaft mixer maximizes productivity and efficiency.
Functions of Horizontal Dual-Shaft Mixer
The entire mixing zone can be divided into three parts: the atomization zone, the mixing zone and the discharge zone.
Horizontal twin-shaft mixers are equipped with counter-rotating blades in the mixing zone, which circulate the material axially and radially at a specific angle, thus achieving a rapid and homogeneous mixing of the material.
This double-shaft mixer is mainly used in the process of pre-watering into balls. When a certain amount of raw material powder flows into the mixing tank from the outlet of the twin-shaft mixer, water is atomized and sprinkled on the raw material powder at a specific pressure. After mixing with a specific length of mixing blades, the material is blended into cores with a uniform water content, which is then transported to the pre-watering ball formation tray.
